It would help your Doctor if you gave her/him a list of your symptoms and signs, together with a record of your basal temperature taken for at least 4 or 5 mornings before getting out of bed, and before having anything to eat or drink.
Symptoms: any indication of disease perceived by the patient, e.g. coldness, weight gain, palpitations are Symptoms
Signs: any abnormality experienced by the patient that others can see and independently confirm e.g. dry scaly skin, trembling hands, outer third of eyebrows missing, are Signs that you can show your Doctor.
