Low-dose Naltrexone (LDN) has been used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases in the USA since 1985 with few initial side effects.
Should you or someone you know suffer from any of the autoimmune diseases listed in our fact sheets, LDN could possibly work to either halt the progression, help with symptom relief or both.
LDN is a cheap drug which can be prescribed on the NHS if the prescribing doctor thinks it’s of benefit, however many people have to obtain a private prescription and pay themselves.
Naltrexone is used in doses of 50-300mg daily for the treatment of addiction. LDN is prescribed at under 10mg per day.
