Hi can somebody please tell me if there is any Information for the help with getting a 24HR saliva cortisol test and how to interpret it when it’s done,my Dr only acknowledges the morning blood test,which I believe inadequate. Thank you.

Yes several of us have taken the saliva test which is over the course of a day. Details in the resources bit of the forum. The labs that do the test offer some info about interpreting the results and there are several websites and forums about adrenals.
My feet are on the cliff’s edge. I feel so depressed and alone. Neither my doctor and/or the endo team are willing to help me get through this horrible continuous sickly thyroid gland who has Hashimotos and needs the kiss of life. Is there any body out there can throw me a life line with Liothyronine or Natural Desiccated Thyroid? I also need advice on how much I need to take. Amanda Lewis, me too. Why won’t the British government allow a general doctor prescribe T3 Liothyronine? The thing that gets to me the most is my hair. It’s the hair that makes a strong and powerful woman look/appear frail. Being told I look poorly and frail really kicks the boot hard into my illness. I can almost cope with the pain caused by my muscle spasms and joint aches. Horrible dry skin too… weight gain is also horrible, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. When us women were younger, fit and healthy , desirable, sexy too we were on top of the world. And now along comes a sickly thyroid that changes all that. I shall be so greatful for any advice on how to obtain T3, T4 and TSH. Please advise? I am relatively new to all this so please excuse any mistakes I have made writing this.

Hi I’m a newbie and at the end of my tether so am reaching out to fellow sufferers for solace. I have endured more years than I care to remember suffering with an illness that has brought life and feels like(death) in equal measures. The good times when my thyroid was overactive despite some downsides felt like being born again. The bad when it’s under active and your world comes crashing down. I am now stuck between a rock and a hard place if I take the poison they prescribe I can’t tolerate it. Yet if I take nothing I can feel myself becoming a shell of who I am inside. They can treat so many other illnesses why on earth can’t they treat thyroid patients.
